Retractable Safety Gate

These gates are great. I bought one a while ago for keeping the puppies out of the kitchen and it works really good. Mainly because my puppies do not jump up on this gate. now if you have dogs or kids that are going to lean on it and try to climb over it then this probably isn’t the best gate, but if babies or puppies are detoured just by there being something across it, these are great. These gates make it really easy to go in and out with maximum space versus other baby gates, where you usually have a little opening to walk through. I have those as well and those are for the areas where the puppies or the babies are gonna jump up or lean on it then they are a little more sturdy. I bought the 72 inch gate next because there was an area outside, I want to keep the puppies away from and this has worked splendidly. so when I when I just need to keep puppies out of an area this is my go to gate because it allows for the maximum space through the opening, but then when needed keeps the puppies out of the area.

We use this as a gate for our pool. Works great and was a perfect fit. The locking mechanism keeps the small grandkids from getting near the pool.

Very cool and works perfectly. Not too bulky so it sits nicely in our hallway and keeps the dogs from going where we don't want them to go. Easy install and solid functionality.

Easy to install and use. We put this at the bottom of our stairs and we appreciate it not being in the way like a regular gate would be

We have 3 dogs and I use these to keep them from harassing me while I'm cooking. We bought 2 of them and they fit perfectly in 2 different size doorways, they are tall enough my dogs don't try to jump them. They have ran into them a few times and as long as they are locked they are stable and sturdy. They are really easy to use and are a great value for the price

I'm using this at the top of a stairwell. It was easy to install. I like that the screen hooks on the opposite end. Once its latched it's very secure. You can lock the screen but there really isn't a need since it hooks when closed.It's easy to open and close and looks good.

Easy to install. Could be more detailed instructions but it ended up working well for what we needed as our old one broke and the brand we had doesn't make them anymore. Eat to roll in and out with one hand without any issues

Works great, easy install my husband installed them in less than an hour. They were great to keep toddlers out of places you don’t want to be and also I use them to keep my dogs from going upstairs. I got one tall enough where they can’t jump over it and I have different size dogs.

Absolutely perfect for what we needed. Keeps the two dogs on the porch we need. While the smallest one jumps completely over the gate the larger one stands at it and will not cross. Had a couple of instances where they figured out they could push it just make sure you lock it every time. It keeps it tight and sturdy.

I could reduce this to a 4.5 stars but wouldn't want it to be 4. Relatively easy to install with good clear instructions and all the hardware needed. Maybe 30 minutes for average homeowner DIY. Be sure to set it low enough. I left a space of a few inches under the bottom and I wish I hadn't. There is no stiffeneng border at the bottom so when the "fence" is pulled fully out, there is some flex at the bottom that could possibly allow a small determined dog to escape. Set it up correctly and this will not be an issue.

Overall I'm happy with the gate. Installation wasn't too difficult though the instructions were a bit vague.Unfortunately, the pre-printed warranty cards I mailed in were returned with a notice of vacant address. Not sure what that's about but it does not inspire confidence.

This is a great baby gate. I love that you can keep it out of the way when not in use. It can be challenging to get into drywall securely, so make sure to use large enough anchors. Once anchored well, it’s very sturdy. It’s a much cleaner look than a gate that cannot retract. It’s easy to use, and the bay cannot get under it or over it. There is an extra feature to lock it in place.

It only took a few minutes to attach the apparatus to the wall. And then same thing on the other side, where you attach the “hook” to latch it. If you’re watching my video, you’re going to notice that my husband did not put it high enough above the wood trim as we have it on a staircase, so our gate does not close all the way, but that’s OK, we’re using it to keep a puppy from going up and down the stairs when we’re not home. And this works perfectly fine even if it’s not attached properly and we’re only using one “hook“/latch. It is very easy to open and close when handed so if I’m carrying something up or down the stairs, I can use my empty hand to open and close it with no difficulty at all considering it’s on an L shaped staircase. There were no missing parts. Everything was included when we boxed it after it was delivered. I think it’s a great value for the money for what we need it for anyway it’s quite sturdy and I think if my husband had put it in the proper place above the wood trim that it would be very secure. It’s versatile as you can see. I’ve got it on an L-shaped staircase and you can use it in a doorway or in the hallway and it’s very durable. Our dog has nosed around it, but not tried to go through it (yet) and we’ve had it for a few months already. I would definitely recommend it.

It turns out to be hard plastic. It didn't fit in terms of width. And it's not suitable for a keyhole. We made a mistake.
And it matches the description.

Great gate! We use this for our toddler and our large dogs. We have this size as well as a few smaller ones. This 72" version, does sometimes have a few issues with the retraction but nothing that isn't fixed by just pulling it back out and letting it retract back in more slowly. We love the lock feature as we use this at an area where there is a step down. Visually it is great because it almost disappears out of sight when not in use verses big bulky metal gates that shrink your walkway and create extra barriers. The black is really easy to see through as well. Our Cane Corso did put her feet up on the gate and it pulled down some in the center but regained its structure when she immediately backed down. Installation was also fairly easy. Pet and kid friendly!

It arrived very quickly, but due to the design of my room it was too short so I will have to figure something out to use it. Nevertheless, I recommend it; it's useful.
